Upcoming Events: Signdance Group's Journey Through Europe

March 28–30 — Ljubljana, Slovenia

Join us for an exciting period of research and development at Jambor Studio. The Signdance Group, in collaboration with Transmitter Performance, will engage in a creative catch-up. This event promises to be an enriching experience for all involved.

April 15th & 19th — RITUAL Development

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Ana Desetnica Theatre in Ljubljana. This will involve preparations and brush-ups at Jambor Studio. Our work during these dates aims to refine our performance, ensuring it resonates deeply with our audience.

April 19th - 27th — NOTIZEN Pula Residency

Supported by Creative Europe and Culture Moves Europe, administered by the Goethe Foundation, we will be developing our craft at ROJC Pula. This residency is a fantastic opportunity to explore new ideas and enhance our artistic expression.

May 23-27 — Graz, Austria

We will be developing and performing in collaboration with Transmitter Performance, funded by Kultur In Graz. Our performance on May 27th will take place in Graz City Centre. We look forward to sharing our unique art form with the local community.

May 29th — NOTIZEN Show

Mark your calendars for our show at 5:30 PM in the village of Bresternica, Maribor, Slovenia. This performance will showcase the culmination of our hard work and dedication.

June 1-11 — RITUAL Development

We will continue our development with Ana Monro Theatre during this period. This collaboration is vital for enhancing our performance and ensuring it meets the highest artistic standards.

June 23-27 — NOTIZEN Development and Performances

We will return to Graz, Austria, for further development and performances. Our shows on the 26th and 27th promise to be engaging and thought-provoking.

June 29th — NOTIZEN at Ana Desetnica Performance

Join us in Maribor for the Lent Festival City Centre. This performance will be a highlight of our summer schedule, showcasing our innovative approach to theatre.

June 30 - July 3 — Ana Desetnica International Street Theatre Festival

We are excited to announce that NOTIZEN will enter the Peer‑2‑Peer programme. Following this, we will perform at the festival itself, connecting with audiences in a vibrant street theatre setting.

July 4 & 5 — TBC

August 12-16 — Wrexfest in North Wales

We are looking forward to participating in Wrexfest. The program will be available soon, and we can't wait to share our work with a new audience.

September — RITUAL Development and Performances

In September, we will continue our development and performances in Ljubljana and Pula. This ongoing work is crucial for our growth as artists.

Workshops and Training Sessions

The Signdance Collective UK is planning several workshops and training sessions in the UK. We will update this space with details as soon as they are confirmed. These sessions will provide valuable opportunities for learning and collaboration.

We are committed to expanding the reach and impact of Signdance Theatre globally. Our goal is to foster inclusive performance and connect Deaf and hearing communities through our unique art form.
